StarZig built the Android app as an Ad Supported app. This SERVICE is provided by StarZig at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at the Android App unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
The app asks for no account and no profile. It requests only the permissions it needs to run: internet access, network state, permission to set a wallpaper when you choose to, and the advertising identifier used to serve ads. It does not request access to your contacts, and it does not request storage permission.
Settings you change in the app are kept on your device only and are never sent to us. That includes your theme, your coin balance, your check-in streak, and the list of people you have blocked in discussions.
Two things you do in the app are sent to our servers, and both are described in their own sections below: posting in a discussion, and subscribing for updates.
The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

The app has discussion rooms where anyone using StarZig can post about an actress. Please read this section before you post.
Discussions are public. Anything you write in a discussion is stored on our servers and can be read by everyone else using the app. Do not post anything you would not want a stranger to see, and do not post your phone number, email address or any other contact detail. The app blocks links and contact details as you type, but you remain responsible for what you write.
Your name is never shown. Messages are posted without any name. Other people see only a shortened, masked form of your device identifier, so the same person is recognisable from one message to the next without being identified.
When you post a message, the following is stored with it: the message text, the time you sent it, your device's Android ID, your device brand and model, your Android version, and the version of the app you used. Your device's Android ID is a per-device identifier; it is used to group your messages together, to let others block you, and to let us remove messages from someone who breaks the rules.
Your email address is never attached to anything you post, whether or not you have subscribed for updates.
We sign you in to our database anonymously through Firebase Authentication so that messages can be written. This creates no account and asks you for nothing.
Abusive and sexual wording is rejected by the app as you send it, and links and contact details are not allowed.
You can report any single message, or a whole discussion, from inside the app. Reports reach our moderators by email at [email protected] and include the reported text and the room it came from. Reporting is one way: the person you report is never told who reported them. Messages that break the rules are removed, and people who repeatedly break them lose access.
You can also block anyone whose messages you would rather not see, by holding down one of their messages. Blocking hides every message from that person, everywhere in the app. Your block list is kept on your device only. It is not sent to us, the person you block is not told, and nobody else is affected by it. You can see who you have blocked and unblock any of them at any time from the "Blocked people" item in the discussions menu. Uninstalling the app clears the list.
If you choose to subscribe for updates, the app shows you your device's Google account picker and you select which address to use. That email address is stored on your device and is also sent to and stored on our servers, together with your device brand and model, your Android version and the app version, so that we can contact you about the app.
Subscribing has no effect on discussions. Your address is not attached to anything you post there. You can ask us to delete it at any time using the contact details at the end of this policy.
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.
This Service does not use these "cookies" explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use "cookies" to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.
We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons: to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services, or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.
We want to inform users of this Service that these third parties have access to your Personal Information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
This Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
Discussion messages are kept so that the conversation stays readable to everyone who comes to it later. Because there is no account, there is nothing to delete by signing in, but you can ask us and we will act on it.
Email [email protected] and tell us what to remove. If you want your own messages deleted, tell us which discussion they were in and roughly when you posted them, and we will find them and remove them. We will also delete a stored email address on request.
Anything held only on your device is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data. That covers your settings, your coin balance, your check-in streak and your block list.
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to take necessary actions.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
